Levi Miles Foundation shares playground design for new Paris park

PARIS, Tenn. — The Levi Miles Foundation revealed their inclusive playground design Thursday.

The reveal was held at the playground’s future home of Ogburn Park in Paris.

The Levi Miles Foundation was founded for the purpose of providing support and resources to children with disabilities and rare diseases, as well as to promote acceptance and inclusion of all individuals within our communities.

The foundation has partnered with the City of Paris to provide this playground where children of all ages, from crawling on up can play on every piece of equipment, side-by-side.

The cost of this playground is $2.5 million dollars.

Funds for this project are being raised by the Levi Miles Foundation.

“We’ll be reaching as many kids from just henry county to all surrounding counties. This will become a destination location so we will have anybody in the entire state, and we anticipate that, of them traveling here and visiting Paris, Tennessee,” said Shayna Miles, president for the Levi Miles Foundation.

The design of this playground has received a certificate of inclusivity from ‘Let Kids Play’ and will be the only playground in Tennessee with this certification.
