Man arrested on multiple charges after crashing into Jackson school
JACKSON, Tenn. — An arrest has been made following a car crash into a local school.
According to the Jackson Police Department’s Police to Citizen website, 30-year-old male, Sheldon Breon Mann, was taken into custody Friday, May 31 at around 11 p.m. at 532 Whitehall Street in Jackson.
The address where the suspect was arrested matches that of Lincoln Elementary School in Jackson.
We reached out to Stephanie Graham, Public Information Officer for JPD, who confirmed this information: Mann’s charges include driving on revoked/suspended license, two counts of evading arrest, resisting a stop, and theft over a thousand dollars.
The incident occurred this past Friday night. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters led us to the scene where a vehicle had crashed into the school.
Multiple agencies had responded to the crash site and our crew witnessed one individual being taken into custody.
According to records available online, Mann remains in custody at the Madison County jail.
