Annie-Laurie “Lassie” Thomas Samuelson

Annie-Laurie “Lassie” Thomas Samuelson, age 84 of Puryear, TN passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at AHC of Paris. Her celebration of life will be at 2:00 pm Friday, June 14th at Buchanan Community Church with Bro. Benny Akers officiating. Her ashes will be buried later in Shiloh Moravian Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, WI.

Annie-Laurie Samuelson was born June 6, 1939, in Provident City, TX to the late Francis William and Marion Clark Schuyler Thomas. On November 26, 1958, she married Robert “Bob” Samuelson, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2019.

Ms. Samuelson is survived by her daughter, Julie-Ann Samuelson of Puryear, TN; four grandchildren: Robert C. (Jennifer) Samuelson, Knowles (Maegan) Samuelson, Thomas (Samantha) Curlings, and Austin Curlings; twelve great-grandchildren: Charlee and Emmilee Samuelson; Isabella, Knowles, and Juliette Samuelson; Leighton, Lawson, Landry and Lennon Curlings; and Molly, Misha, and Anakin Curlings; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, Annie-Laurie was also preceded in death by her son, Stanley Francis Samuelson; two sisters: Charlotte Grosskruger, and Martha Bergmeier; and her twin brother, Francis W. “Lattie” Thomas, Jr.
