Hub City Theatre Co. prepares for Pride and Prejudice performance

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Hub City Theatre Company will be putting on a captivating adaptation of Jane Austen’s timeless classic, “Pride and Prejudice.”

It will take place June 7 through June 9 at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson.

With a preview party on Thursday and regular performances on Friday and Saturday.

This innovative rendition promises to breathe new life into Austen’s beloved masterpiece.

The cast shares more on what we can expect.

“Lots of laughs, really hilarious cast of people, original music, which is beautiful and fantastic, gorgeous costumes, quirky characters, beautiful set pieces. What more could you want,” said Kelly Maust, actress.

“We just have a community that supports theatre in Jackson, which is really wonderful and we’re drawing from that theatre loving community for this production,” said Leeana Cargile, Director for Hub City Theatre Company’s production of Director of Pride and Prejudice.
