E.W. James & Sons celebrates 90th anniversary

MCKENZIE, Tenn. — One grocery store chain has reached a special milestone.

E.W. James & Sons proudly announces its 90th anniversary.

The store has been a family-owned business since its founding in 1934 by E.W. James.

Today, E.W. James & Sons continues to thrive with 11 locations across northwest Tennessee.

Throughout the month of June, the store is hosting special sales and events to show appreciation to the communities they serve.

“Without our customers and our communities, we wouldn’t be here, so it’s for those folks that we’re very, very grateful and continue to be grateful and renew our commitment to our communities and the people that we serve, so we’re just blessed to be here,” said CEO Leeann James.

E.W. James & Sons also shared that success is not just measured by business growth, but also by the positive impact they have on the lives of those around them.
