Arrest made as Jackson Police seize numerous drugs and firearms

Drug Dealer Arrested
An early morning, June 7th, search warrant leads to the arrest of a man and the seizure of a large amount of dangerous drugs.

The Vice Unit of the Jackson Police Department’s Major Crimes Division executed a search warrant at 281 Novy Street. Odgra Bobo, age 38, was taken into custody and charged with the drugs and firearms located in his home. Bobo was found to have over 4000 counterfeit Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills that tested positive for Fentanyl. Investigators located an additional 73 grams of Fentanyl in the house. Bobo also possessed 76 grams of heroin, 10 grams of methamphetamines, 13 grams of cocaine, 490 grams of marijuana, 1789 grams of THC concentrate, 742 Ecstasy, along with other illicit counterfeit pills. Investigators recovered six firearms during the search.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $110,000. The amount of Fentanyl located in the home had the potential to kill approximately 12,000 people or one out of six Jackson population.
Odgra Bobo was out on bond on previous drug charges at the time of his arrest. The Jackson Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office are working to have Bobo’s previous bond revoked.
