UT Gardens Jackson to host perennial and flowering shrubs sale

UT Gardens, Jackson, Hosts Perennial and Flowering Shrubs Sale
Over 80 Hand-Selected Varieties Will Be Available for Purchase
JACKSON, Tenn. – University of Tennessee Gardens, Jackson, is hosting the Perennial and Flowering Shrubs Sale on Wednesday, June 12, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the West Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center.

The sale will feature over 80 varieties of plants including salvia, reblooming daylilies and hydrangeas, the Summerific series of hardy hibiscus, a new series of hardy agapanthus and many others. Each cultivar is hand-selected to be high performing in Tennessee, making them an excellent addition to your lawn or garden.
“We are especially excited to offer numerous cultivars of reblooming daylilies, which are beautiful, low-maintenance plants that grow well in our area,” says Jason Reeves, curator of UT Gardens, Jackson. “Perennials come back each year, saving you money. We encourage you to shop the sale and add these long-living plants to your outdoor displays.”
Cash, card and check will be accepted to make purchasing fast and easy, and Madison County Master Gardeners will be onsite to assist shoppers with making selections.
