Hub City Theatre Company hosts auditions for upcoming musical

JACKSON, Tenn. — The time has come for the community to show their talent as the Hub City Theatre Company hosts auditions for its upcoming production.

“Ride the Cyclone” is their new electrifying musical that’s coming to light soon.

They’ve been planning this production for about a year.

Over 30 participants have signed up to be a part of this audition.

“This is our first musical as Hub City Theatre Company,” said marketing director Peyton Mehr. “We’ve done several straight plays for the last two years, but first musical, we’re excited about this and just kind of growing as a company and having a greater community outreach.”

They’ll judge the participant off of their thirty second song choice and script reading, then they’ll decipher who will be the best for the roles.
