JMCSS offers wide range of career exploration opportunities

JACKSON, Tenn. — Looking for career opportunities to explore? The Jackson-Madison County School System is a good place to start.

For West Tennessee residents interested in education or operational support, the school district has a variety of job options.

There are certified jobs available such as special education teachers and high school math teachers.

There are also non-certified positions available including educational assistants and bus drivers.

“Our superintendent, our school board are doing the work to help us retain quality staff. This is the time of year we want to add a quality staff. Not just teachers but also when you think about food service, when you think about transportation,” said Greg Hammond, Chief of Public Information for JMCSS.

The goal is for Jackson-Madison County Schools to enter the 2024-’25 school year fully staffed or as close as possible.
