Morning drug bust leads to arrest in Bells

RELEASE FROM THE CROCKETT COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:

SEARCH WARRANT YIELDS GUNS, DRUGS, AND DRUG PROCEEDS

On June 10, 2024 at 7:26am, The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant in the City of Bells which yielded drugs, weapons, paraphernalia, and proceeds from drug sales.

As a result, one person was arrested and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. District Attorney Frederick Agee will prosecute the case.

Sheriff Troy Klyce said, “I am proud of the hard work my deputies and investigators are putting into ensuring our county is a safe place to live. If you are selling or transporting drugs in Crockett County – we’ll see you soon.”

The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department has executed multiple search warrants this year throughout the county and will continue to reduce crime by investing in training, K-9s, essential equipment, and drones.
