Police identify victim in fatal train incident
MCKENZIE, Tenn. — Police have identified the victim in a fatal incident involving a train.
According to the McKenzie Police Department, 30-year-old Christopher Austin Tyler Jackson was found dead Saturday morning.
Police say around 5:30 a.m. on June 8, officers were dispatched to the area of Hamilton Street and South Stonewall in McKenzie, in reference to a train company advising that a person had been hit by a train.
According to police, officers arrived to find a deceased male at the scene.

A WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipster told us the train was forced to apply its emergency brakes to make an emergency stop. Our crews arrived on scene and witnessed employees from CSX Railway Company, law enforcement agents, and also several bystanders present.
