Dixie Cafe announces introduction of drive-thru service

JACKSON, Tenn. — An official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today.

The event celebrated the introduction of a drive-thru service at the Dixie Café next to the Old Country Store as well as it’s renovation.

Guests can now enjoy a full range of beloved menu items alongside daily specials, either in the expanded dine-in area or via the new drive-thru service.

Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store has been a multi-faceted destination since 1965.

It includes the restaurant, Miss Anne’s Ice Cream Shoppe, Miss Juanita’s Gift Shop, and the Dixie Café drive-thru or dine-in.

“We still want people to come inside and enjoy the buffet, come inside and enjoy the Dixie Cafe but, if you don’t have any other choice but it needs to be convenient, we can now take care of that as well,” said Brooks Shaw, Old Country Store President.

The new drive-thru will be open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. with plans to introduce breakfast options and extend evening service hours in the coming weeks.
