FHU hosts Golden Year Reunion, invites alumni to reflect on precious memories
HENDERSON, Tenn. — Alumni return to their alma mater for a special reunion.
Freed-Hardeman University alumni from the classes of 1974 and years before are returning from Wednesday through June 14 for the 2024 Golden Year Reunion.
According to the school, the Golden Year Reunion is one of the most special and important events they host annually.
It’s an opportunity for former students to reflect on precious memories, priceless friendships, faith-building experiences, and life-changing years.
They’re also able to reconnect with the people and places that meant so much to them.
“It is wonderful to be able to see that even though things do change over time. When you spend time with our alums, even though they graduated 50 years ago, we’re reminded that many things that are most important to us till haven’t changed,” said David Shannon, President of Freed-Hardeman University.
This year’s reunion will specially recognize the anniversary classes of 1974, 1969, 1964, 1959, 1954 and 1949.
