Bowls for the Hungry fundraiser returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—The community gives back it a unique charity to fund those that are in need.

This is a charity called Bowls for the Hungry. They provide meals and housing to those that don’t have the same opportunities as others.

This is the second year for the occasion and it’s been growing every year.

You have the chance to bid on your favorite items and all the proceeds benefit a great cause.

It’s about bringing the community together to change lives.

“We’re really excited about the Bowls for the Hungry. It’s our second year doing it and the purpose of this event is to bring the community together to raise awareness and funds for those in need, who can’t afford food from day to day or housing,” said Allyssa Miller, Ceramics Director for Jackson.

It’s always a good day to give back to those who need it most.
