Sharon Lewis Williams
Sharon Lewis Williams, age 80, resident of Williston, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, June 23, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Sharon was born June 2, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robin Laverne Williams and Juanita Parrott Lewis. She graduated from Fayette County High School and was employed in the deli at Kroger for many years before her retirement. Sharon enjoyed gardening with flowers, collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia and had a love for her pets. She will forever be remembered for her “fire red” hair.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Dawn Traxler (Hal) of Dallas, TX; her son, John Farley (Theresa) of Hickory Flat, MS; three sisters, Connie Givens, Nita Elaine Hurdle and Robin Lewis; her brother, Reynould Lewis (Donna); eight grandchildren, Cameron Hart, Colby Hart, Kaleigh Hart, Sophie Traxler, Stone Traxler, Chris Wilkerson, Tyler Burch and Spencer Farley; and her dog, Sassy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lester Farley, Jr. and her son, James Kevin Farley.
A visitation for Mrs. Williams will be from 12 noon until 1 P.M. Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Funeral Services will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Vip Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery near Rossville.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rex Powers, Randy Powers, Sidney Person and Chris Wilkerson.
