Lifeline’s ‘All American Blood Drive’ offers chance to win SUV, MLB tickets
JACKSON, Tenn. — Lifeline Blood Services hosted its annual ‘All American Blood Drive’ Thursday.
Every donor was entered to win a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport and Kona Ice was on-site.
Participants received a t-shirt, a voucher for ‘The Blacksmith’, and a chance to win 4 tickets to the Braves vs. Cardinals game on July 21.
Melinda Reid, marketing manager of Lifeline, shares that donations tend to nose-dive in the summer due to busy schedules, so she hopes this blood drive inspires people to take the first step towards saving lives.
“We encourage people to show their patriotic spirit and give the gift of life by donating blood. It’s truly a great way to impact your community. Doesn’t cost you a dime, it’s just about 30 to 45 minutes of your time and it’s just such a generous act,” said .
If you missed Thursday’s event, Lifeline’s Dyersburg location will host it’s All American Blood Drive on June 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lifeline Blood Services never requires appointments for whole blood donation.
For platelet and plasma donations, call Lifeline at 731-427-4431 to make an appointment.
