Annual ‘Festival of the Lakes’ prepares for return to Lexington
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — An annual celebration returns for another year in Lexington.

The Festival of the Lakes returns for an evening of fellowship and fun.
Guests are able to attend this free event at Beech Lake on Thursday, July 4 at 5 p.m.
At the lake, there will be vendors and food trucks for guests to enjoy.
There will be a boat parade and cardboard race with live bands performing.
“We’ll have live entertainment from Miss Tennessee, Miss Lexington and Miss Festival of the Lakes will also make an appearance. And then we’ll have three bands there we’ll have Indecisive, which is a Lexington Band, and we’ll have the Groove Band, and then we’ll have Jackson natives by Kota of Air to close out our nigh,” said Rylee Smith, members services manager for Henderson County Chamber of Commerce.
And of course fireworks will begin at 9 p.m. with 99.3 FM playing music set to the firework show.
