Christian rapper, Jackson native returns to Hub City for free concert

Acclaimed Christian Rapper and Country Music Artist Lathan Warlick returns to Jackson for Hometown Concert
The free concert will be held at The Carl Perkins Civic Center on Friday, July 5, 2024 

JACKSON, Tenn. – The City of Jackson, TN, and Jackson Hidden Tracks, an initiative by Visit Jackson, TN,  are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of Jackson native, Lathan Warlick, for a special  hometown concert on Friday, July 5th, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. This promises to be a memorable  night filled with uplifting music and community spirit. The show will feature an opening performance by  rising University of Memphis-Lambuth senior, “Artic.” 

Lathan Warlick has achieved national acclaim for his distinctive fusion of Christian rap and country  music, and has collaborated with notable artists such as Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, RaeLynn, and Russell Dickerson. His work has inspired many with powerful stories of faith and resilience. 

Warlick expressed his excitement about the upcoming show, saying, “I am so pumped to be able to  come to my hometown of Jackson and give y’all a great show! I can’t wait to share that with everyone  and celebrate God, Love, and Unity. I love my city and can’t wait to be back home! Let’s goo!!” 

“Jackson takes great pride in welcoming back Lathan Warlick. We are honored to celebrate his  impressive career and look forward to this fantastic hometown performance,” said Mayor Scott Conger.  “It will be a wonderful night for our community to come together and celebrate one of our own.” 

The Carl Perkins Civic Center is located at 400 S. Highland Ave. in Downtown Jackson, TN. Music will begin at 7:30 p.m.
