Lane College alumni and SuperBowl champion Jacoby Jones passes away at the age of 40
Former Lane College alumni, n-f-l player and super bowl champion jacoby jones has passed away. The national football league made the announcement Sunday, along with two teams he played for.
Jones was known for scoring two touchdowns in ‘super bowl 47′ for the Baltimore ravens. The team said his charisma, joy and love could light up a room or brighten a dark day.
He also played five seasons with the Houston Texans. That franchise released a statement to offer thoughts and prayers for jones’ family.
Lane college dragons head football coach vyron brown released a statement saying quote..
“To my friend and brother. In this moment I am truly thankful for the time god allowed us to spend time together.Your name will live forever. Until we meet again”.
No cause of death has been made public. Jones was 40 years old.
