33rd ‘Milan No-Till Field Day’ to be hosted July 25
MILAN, Tenn. — The 33rd ‘Milan No-Till Field Day‘ has been set for Thursday, July 25.
The event will be hosted at the AgResearch and Education Center at Milan from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is free to attend.
Participants have the opportunity to learn the latest developments regarding no-till farming, including production strategies, industry regulations, management options for weeds, and more.
There will also be research tours led by row crop experts, and a trade show featuring local representatives from agricultural organizations.
“This is a great opportunity for row crop producers in our area to get some research based information on a variety of agricultural topics,” said Tate Cronin, marketing and communications specialist for University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture.
Milan No-Till Field Day first began in 1981 as a way to teach producers about the benefits of no-till farming over traditional tillage.
Today, it attracts thousands of people from across the nation.
