Annual Catfish Derby and Riverfest is on the way back to Savannah

JACKSON, Tenn. — The 3rd annual Catfish Derby and Riverfest is returning to downtown Savannah.

The Riverfest will begin Friday, September 13 and involves 3 days of live music and entertainment.

There’ll be a line-up of award winning songwriters and musicians and an array of food vendors.

There are also shops and vendor booths to explore.

Frontman of Lightwatch, Trey Nichols, shares that he’s been a part of Riverfest the last two years.

He played an acoustic set in 2022 and played guitar with his dad, Gary Nichols, last year.

“It’s become a bit of a tradition for me to be here. I’m extremely excited to be back on stage with my band this time. It’s gonna be a really fun time. I couldn’t be more excited,” said Trey Nichols.

Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a food lover, or simply seeking a good time, the catfish derby and Riverfest will have something for everyone.
