Family seeks help in search for missing man

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — One man has been missing for 21 days, his family is asking for help from the community.

54-year-old Joe Cantrell has been missing since June 25.

According to Cantrell’s sister, Jennifer Jones, Cantrell has been reported missing to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones said that Cantrell’s girlfriend Brenda said that she last saw Cantrell on June 25 around 12:00 a.m. in Beech Bluff. When she woke up around 6 a.m., Cantrell was gone.

Jones also told us that Cantrell suffered a stroke a few years ago so his speech is slurred.

She also said that Cantrell is a diabetic and has not taken any insulin since he was reported missing.

“He needs to be brought home, you know, I hate to say it but one way or another. We need him to be found. I feel like if he was able to get to a phone. He would contact me and he hasn’t,” said Jennifer Jones.
