‘Friends of Heart’ to host annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans fundraiser

JACKSON, Tenn. — The annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans event is returning for a great night of dinner, dancing and supporting heart health.

The event is set for August 3 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and starts at 6 p.m.

There will be a silent auction, cocktails, a plated dinner and a live auction. Plus, a live band out of Memphis and a whiskey pull.

Don’t miss this chance to have fun and help your community.

“We’re Friends of Heart. We’re a local non-profit for heart health here in West Tennessee. All the money that we raise stays here in Jackson and the 19 surrounding counties and then this Black Tie Blue Jeans will be our seventh annual Black Tie Blue Jeans,” said Tracey McKnight, executive director for Friends of Heart.
