Michaels host its grand opening in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—A new store opens in Jackson for help with all your DIY and crafting needs.
Michaels hosted its grand opening today. The event took place from 9 this morning until 2 this afternoon.
Shoppers could come and check out what the new store has to offer and also enjoy some fun giveaways.
A ribbon cutting was held to kick off the celebration, which also included local food trucks on site, free crafts, face painting for the kids, and more.
This Michaels is one of its newer designed stores offering a custom framing center, extensive array of supplies, and also a self checkout area.
Michaels is located at 1081 Vann Drive Suite 107 in the Columns.
“So we’ve got art and crafts. We’ve got a little bit of baking. We’ve got a little bit of everything,” said Anthony Campbell, Store manager at Michaels.
The first Michaels store opened in Texas back in 1973.
