Interactive exhibit brings story of American Revolution to life

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The Key Corner Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust are excited to feature ‘The American Revolution Experience’.

Located at the Dyersburg State Community College Learning Resource Center, the innovative pop-up exhibition connects modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.

The exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and more to engage visitors.

The grand opening was held Tuesday and the exhibition will last till August 16.

The exhibit is available to see Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regent of the Key Corner Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Laura McCulloch, shares the passion behind their chapter’s hard work.

“These ladies work diligently to provide these activities and events for our local community and spread our love of patriotism, education and historic preservation to everyone we meet,” said McCulloch.

This exhibit is free of charge and open to the public.

There are also plans for additional activities including; a lecture series, historic trades demonstrations and children’s story hours.
