Hub City welcomes new seafood restaurant: Captain Jack

JACKSON, Tenn. — A new fish and shrimp restaurant is open and ready to serve you for all of your fried fish cravings.

Captain Jack is located at 2115 North Parkway in east Jackson next to the Dollar General and BP gas station.

The menu features whole catfish meals, filets, or nuggets, jumbo shrimp, popcorn shrimp and more.

This is the first location, but there are plans to have additional restaurants in the surrounding areas in the future.

Restaurant owner, Captain Jack, says his focus is the quality of his food and to make sure people come back for their favorite piece of fish.

“If you can see here, I’ve got a simple menu. It’s an easy menu with not even 20 items, and mainly it’s just fish and shrimp; it’s seafood. What I’m trying to do it keep it simple and be good at it. The best thing you can get here is the catfish filet with regular fries with the slaw,” said Captain Jack, restaurant owner.

Captain Jack is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The restaurant also provides online ordering, dine-in, carryout, and drive thru options.
