Pets Rock! Fest returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—The Jackson Fairgrounds has gone to the dogs once again.

Jackson Animal Care Center hosts its 3rd annual Pets Rock! Fest today from 10 this morning until 4 this afternoon.

The special event includes fun for pets and pet owners too. The festival includes giveaways, food trucks on site, a water slide for the kids, and a dunking booth.

There were also various competitions held throughout the day for pets to enter, and even a doggie foam party.

The festival even offers the opportunity to bring home a new friend, as pet adoptions are also available.

This year’s event was sponsored by Dustin Ring of Dustin Buys Houses, and the City of Jackson.

Entry fee for Pets Rock! was $5 dollars and kids 10 and under were free to enter.

Proceeds from today’s event will go towards the local spay and neuter programs.

Jackson Animal Care Center is pivotal in providing these low cost procedures to pet families in need.

“This year has been a much bigger turnout. It grows every year and our goal is to eventually be the largest adoption event in West Tennessee,” said Kindall Thomas, Co-organizer Pets Rock! Fest.

JACC has provided care for more than 5 thousand animals since 2020.
