Final night at the Miss Tennessee Volunteer pageant

JACKSON, Tenn.—The final stretch of the Miss TN Volunteer Pageant comes to an end tonight as the winner will be announced tonight.

Everyone is inside the Carl Perkins Civic Center awaiting the next title holder for Miss Tennessee Volunteer 2025. Pageant organizers tell us the turn out this year has been exceptional.

“Tonight is what all these girls have worked for all year. Tonight’s the night. Tonight’s the night we crown a new Miss Tennessee Volunteer and so we’re so excited. Throughout the day, we’ve had different rehearsals for the girls. And kind of, had some excitement and fun with them just to calm their nerves,” said Emily Sparks, Executive Director.

They started out the competition with thirty-five contestants and tonight they narrow it to the the final sixteen competitors.

“We are so excited to be here. The city of Jackson looks forward to to the pageants and just the excitement around the city of Jackson, with the pageant here and having people from all over the state of Tennessee, is just, it brings excitement,” Sparks said.

Win, lose, or draw, the return on investment for the initial mission of the pageant sets the standard for the next Miss Tennessee Volunteer.

“I learn something new every year from our queen. Jada Brown has taught me a lot this year. A lot that she has no clue about, but also we learn from each other and Jada Brown is one of the most genuine, kindest individuals I’ve ever met. She will always be a part of our family,” Sparks said.

The judges scores are underway for the next addition to the Miss Tennessee Volunteer family.

Current title holder Jada Brown will crown the new winner tonight at the Carl Perkins Civic Center before she goes back to her hometown in Plant City, Florida to pursue her next plans.
