South Side Alumni Ericko Sain comes back home and signs with Lane College Basketball
Sain to Lane. I repeat Sain to Lane. That’s right South Side alumni and Columbia
state graduate Ericko Sain is taking his talents to the Lane college
basketball team. Back in his high school days he scored over 1,000 career points while also being
a Mr basketball finalist and state champion. At Columbia he shot 52.3 Percent from the field, 40 percent
from the 3 and 62.8 Percent from the charity strike.We caught up with the newest Lane college
Dragon and here’s what he had to say about choosing the school.
“I chose because one it was a great coaching staff and i felt the most welcome from that team and
two i seen that i can be back home and play in front of the crowd that seen me play two years previous so it felt good to pick lane yeah.”
He also went on to say he is looking forward to winning a championship. Congrats Ericko and congrats to the Dragons
on a huge signing.
