Lane College holds annual Campus and Community Organization Expo
JACKSON, Tenn. — One event aims to engage students with opportunities for campus involvement and provide valuable information on community resources.
The Campus Organization Fair was held at Lane College Friday giving students the opportunity to discover multiple student-led organizations, learn about upcoming events on campus, and network with peers and community leaders.
Students took full advantage of this event to enhance their college experience.
“So our students can get involved and have an anchor here at Lane College–something to keep them engaged,” said Fisher Smith, director of campus life.
“I really believe in getting out there and getting your hands dirty–getting active on campus, because that’s how you make friends on campus. That’s how you network and that’s how you figure out what you like to do,” said Keith Jordan Jr., Student Government Association President at Lane College.
