Auditions held for upcoming production
JACKSON, Tenn.—A beloved dramedy is set to hit the stage and auditions just began.
The Hub City Theatre Guild held auditions today for its upcoming production of the southern hit “Steel Magnolias.”
The auditions took place at 2 this afternoon in Jackson. This was day two of auditions which began on Saturday.
“Steel Magnolias” tells the story of a group of ladies who regularly meet up at a local beauty parlor in small-town Louisiana.
They find themselves navigating through friendship and an array of difficult situations and emotions.
The production is set to hit the stage on September 27, 28, and 29. Along with performances in October on the 3 to the 5th.
Performances will be held at 120 North Star Drive in Jackson.
“We had a great turnout yesterday, a lot of talented women, anxious to get a role in this very popular show,” said Billy Worboys, Director.
“Steel Magnolias” will be directed by Billy Worboys.
