Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association visits Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association is holding their third-quarter board meeting right here in Jackson.

President & CEO of the association, Sara Beth Urban, was in town Monday along with other board members including president of the Old Country Store Brooks Shaw.

Shaw hosted the members for lunch and provided a site tour of Casey Jones Village.

The association promotes advocacy for the value of hospitality and tourism.

“From, you know, the Rockabilly Museum, the Old Country Store, people love that unique, authentic charm that they can get in these communities and so we want to continue to uphold that and to honor that and so that’s part of the reason why we’re here, to really see and appreciate the growth that’s happened in Jackson over the last few years,” said Urban.

Following their time at the Old Country Store. The association had afternoon meetings and are going to a networking event Monday evening at Hub City Brewing.
