Lunch and learn event coming to Jackson Aug. 30

JACKSON, Tenn. — An event for special education students, family, and teachers is almost here!

A lunch and learn is set for Friday, August 30 at 11 a.m.

The event will take place at Mental Health and Developmental Services located at 27 Conrad Drive in Jackson.

A light lunch will be provided along with door prizes every 30 minutes.

The lunch and learn will provide information about available programs and services. Examples include Medicaid alternative pathways, family support programs, and employment and day services.

“There are other programs that will be there to exhibit and talk about what they do because this is for all of West Tennessee, not just Jackson and Madison County,” said Bill Brewer, CEO of MHDS Inc.

Mental Health and Developmental Services has been advancing the quality of life of loved ones at home and in the community since 1972.
