Sky Zone in Jackson celebrates ‘Pup Patrol Day’

JACKSON, Tenn. — Tuesday was a day for some first responders to put their best foot, or rather, their best paw, forward.

Tuesday was ‘Pup Patrol Day.’ The event was held at Sky Zone Park in northeast Jackson.

Parents brought the kids to meet their favorite pups along with seeing various emergency vehicles.

Also on hand were first responders and emergency units from the Jackson police and fire departments, Madison County Sheriff’s Department and the Jackson Police Department’s helicopter known as “Air One.”

Organizers say this event was fun for the whole family.

“Normally, Tuesdays are kinda slow for us, but the weather is beautiful outside today. Couldn’t have been a better day for the helicopter to land and the guys to be out here today, so we’re just happy to be able to provide a place for the kids to come to and stay off the streets and come in and have some fun,” said Tommy Carter, owner of Sky Zone in Jackson.

In addition, all first responder families could jump at Sky Zone for free.
