Heavy police presence seen on Lockwood Drive in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — We received reports of a heavy police presence on Lockwood Drive in Jackson.

A WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipster notified us a little after 4 p.m. stating that a SUV was in their neighbors yard on Lockwood Drive.

Upon our arrival, we noticed a black car that had no driver in it.

We also noticed the Jackson Police Department on the scene, as well as the presence of undercover police.

Police were spotted coming out of the woods with a dog which looked like he was sniffing out a scent.

We were told off camera by a neighbor that the owner of one of the vehicles jumped out of the car and ran through the wooded area behind a home.

Shortly after, Gene’s Wrecker Service was spotted towing the vehicle.
