Driver airlifted after crash with semi on 45 Bypass

JACKSON, Tenn. — A crash Tuesday afternoon leads to one airlifted from the scene.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle wreck occurred around 3 p.m. on 45 Bypass near Passmore Lane.

THP says the wreck occurred when a sedan and a semi truck collided.

This led to the sedan being pushed against a guard rail.

One individual sustained serious injuries.

Traffic on 45 Bypass was reduced to one lane near the location of the wreck.
