JTA to discontinue bus service in observance of Labor Day

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) will not be operating its regular bus service on the nationally observed holiday, Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024. Service will resume on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

JTA Bus Service is Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Base fare is $1.25. Route maps and timetables are available on JTA fixed route buses, at the JTA office, 38 Eutah Street, by phone or by mail, through the app Transloc or at JTA’s website, www.ridejta.com.
