Inaugural West Tennessee Comic Con to be hosted in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Pop culture lovers around the Hub City are in for a treat this September.

The inaugural West Tennessee Comic Con will take place on Saturday, September 7 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can shop from vendors, meet special guests and take part in a cosplay contest.

There will also be gaming, a magic show, guest panels, and much more fun to enjoy.

“The special guests will be there all day long, signing autographs. Many of them are going to have panels as well, so if you have ever had any questions that you wanted to ask them, they will be taking questions and answering them. You will be able to hear all kinds of crazy stories from their years of doing this,” said Austin Bell, event organizer for the West Tennessee Comic Con.
