Dyer County Fair opens its 77th season
DYER COUNTY, Tenn.– It’s definitely fair season in West Tennessee….as one local county ushers in its annual fair.

Opening ceremonies were held late Monday afternoon for the 77th annual Dyer County Fair in Dyersburg.
It got underway at the First Citizens National Bank Amphitheater at the Dyer County Fairgrounds.
Fair goers can look forward to rides on the midway, fair food, games, livestock shows, beauty pageants as well as great entertainment.
Organizers say there are several special days lined up this week.
“We have things line up everyday. Wednesday is Special Needs Day…Thursday is Senior Citizens Day…Friday is Youth Day..The kids are out of school here on Friday, so they can come out to the fair that day,” said Debbie Bradshaw-Hart, past president and current board member of the Dyer County Fair.
The Dyer County Fair continues through Saturday, September 7 at the Dyer County Fairgrounds.
