2024 Fall Career Expo arrives at the Carl Perkins Civic Center
JACKSON, Tenn. — The 2024 Fall Career Expo was held Tuesday at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
The event was open to the public and many individuals brought resumes to meet potential new employers.
Hundreds of positions were available and event coordinators shared that over 300 potential employees were in attendance.
Opportunities included medical, manufacturing, education, or entry level professional jobs. Some jobs even had on the spot interviews.
“We want to make sure we have a wide variety of job opportunities available. Just cause we have people just starting out with a job or starting a new career. We have people just starting high school, and some graduating college so we’re really excited to have a wide variety of opportunities all available in one location,” said Katie Doherty, event coordinator with Thomas Media.
The next career expo will be in May.
