Annual Main Street Festival returns to Whiteville September 14

WHITEVILLE, Tenn. — Whiteville’s 4th Annual Main Street Festival is coming up September 14.

The event offers a unique opportunity to showcase the vibrant culture and community spirit of Whiteville.

Event highlights include a performance by the renowned Memphis group PC Band and a special appearance by singer Ashling Cole.

Attendees are expected from across the region and there’ll be various local vendors and attractions.

“We’ve discovered that this event creates a sense of community. We have people walking around there who–that have not seen each other in quite some time and so it’s an opportunity for them all to come together and just kind of catch up on things so that’s why it’s such an awesome event,” said Gene Bowden, Mayor of Whiteville.
