This ensures that every child has access to books from birth. fostering a love of reading that will last a lifetime. This program provides every child in a designated school with new socks and shoes rotating to a different school each year.
They have nine teams participating in the golf tournament this year.
“Every year we support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. In the past year we’ve had a putt putt golf tournament but this year we decided to go back to a regular golf tournament. The main reason is being a support to the community,” said Robert Roy, assistant governor to the rotary district.
The goal they aim to raise at the tournament is $30,000 in funding to support their mission.
