JMCSS students, employees to be dismissed early for Fair Day

JACKSON, Tenn. — Students and employees in the Jackson-Madison County School System will be dismissed early later this week for a special occasion.

JMCSS Day at the West TN State Fair will be held Friday, September 13 from 1-4 p.m.

During this time, JMCSS students can enjoy special discounts such as:

  • Pre-K – 5th Grade: Free admission with ticket
  • 6-12th Grade & Adults: $2 admission
  • $5 wristband for ride access (normally $25)

Communication from the school system states the $5 wristband will expire after 4 p.m. on Friday. Students are asked to wear their school or JMCSS T-shirt.

Lunch will be provided at the schools prior to dismissal, and parents are responsible for transporting and supervising students during Fair Day.
