JACKSON, Tenn. — Around 7 p.m. Tuesday, our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters informed us of a large law enforcement presence in the parking lot of the Lowe’s store on South Highland Avenue.

When our crew arrived, they found Jackson police, fire, and EMS crews working the scene.
We also found police focused on a vehicle on one end of the parking lot. Store management told us this incident is not related to Lowe’s itself.

We saw the vehicle later being loaded onto a tow truck and we’ve been told one person was taken from the scene by ambulance, but we don’t know their immediate condition.
We’ve reached out to Jackson police and are awaiting additional information about this incident.
