Major Bobby Joe. Mayfield retired Airforce Major age 78 of Brighton, TN. died Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Dee’s Care Home in Cordova, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, 11:00a.m.-11:55a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 584 John Hill Road in Brighton, TN. Funeral service will follow at 12: Noon with Pastor Matalee Hall officiating. Burial will be held in the Springhill Church Cemetery in Eaton, TN. Survivors include his niece Sherrie Elaine (Albert) Foster, Brighton, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Collis and Florine Mayfield, Sisters, Rosie Marie Mullins, Cora Louise Whitfield, brother, Joe Henry Mayfield, nephew Jerry Wayne Adams. Retired Major Mayfield leaves extended family, a host of friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Arrangements are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home and will be announced later.
