Local youth get a basketball lesson from the pros
JACKSON, Tenn.—Kids got a chance to hoop and learn other skills on the court at the Junior Grizzlies Basketball Clinic today.
The event was held at the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson at 832 Lexington Avenue.
This was a free clinic, presented by Ortho-South and a stop on the Grizzly Caravan Tour.
“Just excited to see kids that want to learn and hoop. Obviously, I used to be in those shoes. It’s cool just to see kids go out there and play basketball and have fun,” said Jaylen Wells, Memphis Grizzlies Player.
The clinic was for kids ages 6-13.
