It’s the park’s second annual Northwest Tennessee Native American Educational Powwow.
Visitors will discover a vibrant display of the skill, grace, and beauty of Native American culture.
It offers a one-of-a-kind cultural experience, highlighting the rich traditions and heritage of Native American communities from across the nation.
You can expect dancing and singing contests, feasting, storytelling, live entertainment, and arts and crafts.
“People will go away knowing things that they probably didn’t even know, not only about the general Native American culture, but about the culture of the Native Americans right here in the state on Tennessee,” said emcee Al Santos.
This event is free with park admission or membership.
The four-day experience lasts September 19 through 22 at the museum and heritage park in Union City.
