Jackson’s Littlebird Restaurant and Bar to close

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Hub City will be losing an eatery that opened its doors just last year.

Wednesday, Littlebird Restaurant and Bar announced via Facebook that staff is preparing to “bring our journey to a close.”

The announcement comes around nine months after Littlebird held their grand opening in December 2023.

Owner Lauren Kail told us last year: “I felt like Jackson deserved that variety. Vegans and plant-based consumers alike, folks avoiding alcohol, people who are gluten free, they really don’t have those places to go where they feel accounted for on the menus.”

According to the social media post, the restaurant is expected to remain open for at least a short period of time.

The vegan restaurant and bar is located at 316 North Highland, across from the roundabout near downtown Jackson.
