MVP of The Week Jaydon Peete
MVP of The Week Jaydon Peete
Let’s kick things off with high school Football and we take things things to Milan
because our MVP of the week goes to Jaydon Peete. He plays running back and linebacker
for the Bulldogs on Friday he had 12 carries for 222 yards
three rushing touchdowns and one reception
for 35 yards and a touchdown. While on the defense side he recorded
4 tackles and two tackles for loss. That performance
led Milan to a 54-18 victory over Camden that moves them to
a 4-0 record. Peete has the speed to not only
get out on the edge, but also take it the distance with one
cut. One of the more impressive things about him is the ability
to read and react off of blocks without slowing down
in between his movements. We caught up with him at practice
and he spoke about being voted MVP of the week, giving all the
credit to his offensive line and that honestly he is not about
individual stats but more so all about the team and getting a win.
Like i said its my team it’s not me it’s my oline blocking for me and my D-Line opening up the gaps to go make a play. Man I was just want to go out there play and get the win. I could care less about my stats for real just gone show up.”
running back Saquon Barkley from the Philadelphia Eagles.
To catch Jaydon and and the bulldogs in
action they’ll host Jackson Central Merry
on Friday at 7:00 pm.
