Performances to begin for play written by Hub City business owner

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local business owner has a new title to add to her resume.

Suzanne Gillis, the owner of Catbird Studio in north Jackson, has written a play titled “Where is Mr. Bradbury?”

Performance of that play are set to take to the stage next month.

Tuesday, she and cast members of the play held rehearsals for the play at the Catbird Studio.

Gillis says she’s enjoyed developing this new play.

“This is my first time writing a play but it was–it’s just flowed, just came out, and I’m having a really great time pulling it all together.” said Gillis.

Performances of “Where is Mr. Bradbury?” will be October 24-28 at the Catbird Seat, located at 2100 Pleasant Plains Extended Suite G, in north Jackson.
